Service Charge Increase - Complaint

As some of you may have read GreenSquareAccord have increased their service charge yet failed to notify many residents. This has caused justifiable concern for many of you.

GreenSquareAccord failed to send an email suggesting who residents should contact for support, they failed to offer guidance in the form a social media post, and those of you who did complain many were ignored whilst others were told to expect a response within 28 days.

This is not acceptable and is not inline with the published GSA Way.

Why Complain?

  1. It’s the only way to help GreenSquareAccord provide an adequate level of service. This is the same Housing Association that left many residents without heating and hot water during a health pandemic, and now they’ve added financial pressure to many of us during a global financial crisis.

  2. If enough of us complain we can support the many residents who are unable to complain for themselves. Many of the GreenSquareAccord residents are vulnerable and many are elderly, as such they will be easily ignored by GreenSquareAccord. We can help raise this issue to ensure GreenSquareAccord learn, strengthen their procedures and protect the most vulnerable within our society.

  3. It’s want GreenSquareAccord want us to do. Not only do GreenSquareAccord want to pump up the voice of their residents, but they also want the opportunity to learn from their mistakes. In order to help shape the service they provide we must complain and if needed escalate to the Housing Ombudsmen, this way we can ensure GreenSquareAccord are able to bring The GSA Way to life.

I’m sure GreenSquareAccord will be the first to thank us.

How do you complain?

I’ve created a simple three step complaint process to enable you to send a prewritten complaint to GreenSquareAccord.

  1. If you were not notified of your service charge increase click on the Start Complaint button below. This complaint is only for people who were not notified about the Service Charge increase, it isn’t about the increase itself just the lack of proper notification. If you have another complaint issue please click here.

  2. Select how you would like to complain. This can be done through a prewritten email, through this website, or you can download a prewritten letter.

  3. Fill in your details and click send. When you click on the link it will open a written email, all you need to do is add your name and address in the section marked ‘My Name & Address’. If you do not have an email account there is a complaint letter you can download, print and post.
